New Moon Sun 28˚ 37' Aquarius The snowfall was an amazing experience. I haven’t seen anything like it since I was a child. The array of birds that came into the garden looking for food was unbelievable. Among them there were ravens and redwings, a bird I’ve never seen before. Once again, it is the time of the new Moon. The chart has Leo rising with Saturn in the first, conjunct the ascendant opposite Neptune widely opposite the Sun and Moon. Neptune conjunct the ascendant is widely conjunct the Sun and Moon in the seventh. Mercury, Uranus and the south node are conjunct in Pisces in the eighth square Jupiter in the fifth in Sagitarius. Venus is in Pisces in the eighth square Pluto also in the fifth. Mars is in Capricorn in the sixth separating from a quincunx to Saturn. Mercury station to go retrograde on Feb 14th at 4.38am at 10˚ 13 Pisces and is retrograde until March 8th going back to 25 25 Aquarius. On the 28th Feb, Mercury is at 28 Aquarius, the degree of this new Moon. The same day Saturn is opposite Neptune for the second time. Something I find very interesting about this chart, is Mercury retrograde to Aquarius 25 25 opposite the degree that Saturn stationed at in Leo in Dec 2006. I feel that Mercury is very important in this chart although maybe we will not know what this is all about until just before the next full Moon. The Sun, Moon and Neptune conjunct in Aquarius in the seventh suggests lots of idealizing about belonging to a group. Neptune likes to loose itself in other people although the opposition to Saturn shows a lot of people feeling very lonely and isolated. Saturn has a delaying action and Saturn in Leo shows a resistance to being ourselves. If we go with modern ruler ship, Uranus and Neptune are in mutual reception so there is a lot of energy going on between the sign of Aquarius and Pisces. Aquarius has high ideals, likes to be very rebellious thinking rules are made to be broken and shocking people is a favourite pass time. Pisces, on the other hand, is very compassionate, sensitive to the feeling of others, often sacrificing the self. So all in all, there is a lot going on. The environmental issue has been continuously in the news. Bird flu has arrived in England and Tony Blair seems to have been leading a merry dance, so much denial, what is really going on. Will we ever know the truth on the above issues? The weather has been shouting at us for a long time. Did we take notice? So now it’s just doing it’s own thing. Bernard Matthews has connection with the farm in Hungary where there was an outbreak of bird flu. Tony Blair has a strong Neptune so who knows what is his reality is! On this note, I leave you with a quote. Dream Again Author unknown from “The Patience Strong Gift Book” Blessings of the new Moon.
