New Moon Sun 21˚ 41' Cancer Well, what a month. I was at Glastonbury festival and we thought we were having a hard time. The Wheel of Astrologers were aware of the last opposition of Saturn and Neptune and some had said we might find it difficult to get off the festival site. Tina at one point told us that there was a storm as big as Portugal on its way. I thought that was a very Sagittarius statement. Although, later when l saw the size of the rain drops, l thought she was right. I have never seen anything like it. When l finally got off Worthy farm and saw the news and pictures in the papers, l became painfully aware that people all over England had had a really frightening and difficult time. In Hull 30,000 people had to be evacuated from their homes and 95 schools out of 105 were closed and this was not the only area to suffer. There were similar reports all over the British Isles. In my local area, a bridge was washed away. Very Saturn/Neptune, bridge Saturn and Neptune water. So lots of people have lost their comfort zones and are still having a really difficult time. This is reflected in the new Moon chart. The Sun and Moon are conjunct in Cancer in the 10th trine Uranus in Pieces in the 5th. The ascendant is in Libra and Venus the chart ruler is conjunct Saturn (separating). Venus in the 11th and Saturn in the 10th are in Leo. Venus is also separating from a trine to Pluto in Sagittarius in the 3rd and Saturn, of course, is still separating from its opposition to Neptune in Aquarius in the 4th. Saturn is trine with Pluto (applying). Chiron in Aquarius in the 4th is in a wide applying conjunction to Neptune and Mercury in Cancer in the 9th is now direct. There are lots of issues around housing and how people nurture themselves in this chart. I get the feeling from the chart that people see victims in other countries getting help and are wondering what the Government are going to do about their predicament. Maybe here in England we have become too complacent about the environmental issue and felt safe. It certainly shows how people club together and help each other in dire situations. Lots of people have experienced a loss of their possessions and may have realized that their possessions are not their security. Which has brought about a transformation of where their values lie. Although, it’s easy to write this when you still have your home and are not having to share a space with loads of other people. I want to really acknowledge this has been a really difficult time for people. The farmers are finding it hard to bring in their crops ,festivals and social gatherings are being cancelled due to fields still being waterlogged and even Wimbledon wasn’t spared. The Libran ascendant asks us to find balance and Venus goes retrograde on the 28th July, two days before the next full Moon, suggesting going back over old ground. The Post Office workers are going on strike over pay issues and l keep hearing how people are having a difficult financial time and there’s no truer saying - when there’s no money love goes out the window. Venus comes back to making another conjunction with Saturn and trine Pluto. The full Moon chart has Gemini rising with Mercury still in Cancer in the 2nd. The Sun in Leo in the 3rd and the Moon in Aquarius in the 9th are opposite each other. Neptune is conjunct the Midheaven. Mars in Taurus in the 12th is square to Neptune in Aquarius in the 10th (separating) and square with Saturn in the 4th (applying). Pluto in Sagittarius in the 7th is conjunct the Descendant. Mars is also applying to a quincux with Pluto. This chart reflects that there’s still a difficult time ahead with the applying Mars/Saturn square. Its going to seem like things are not getting sorted out quick enough and there will be lots of delays and frustration. Communication and the value of the family is an important factor in this chart. The Neptune/Chiron conjunction around the Midheaven suggest an idealistic
healing philosophy bringing together humanity and the divine. Mercury
is very important in this chart as its trine Uranus and quincux Neptune.
So something very confusing and unexpected could happen. Anyway my
thoughts are with you, l wish you all well and l leave you with a quote: |
