New Moon
16th May 8.28 am BST
Sun 25˚ 33' Taurus
Moon 25˚ 33' Taurus
Thank heavens for the rain, everywhere looks so green, we are so blessed.
I love the smell of the May blossom which smells amazing especially
after the rain. Venus is still very bright in the evening sky; Saturn
is there to be seen next to the constellation of Leo and if you are
up past 11 30 in the evening, you will see Jupiter rising in the east.
I have been wondering what’s going on in the collective consciousness.
The Madeleine reward money has reached £2.6million and she has had
vast amounts of people praying for her safe return. Is this connected
to Neptune in Aquarius and the mass’s becoming aware of the power of
the collective thought. What does Saturn in Leo say about our children,
does this reflect how unsafe we feel it is to leave them? I don’t read
the paper or watch telly very much, so a lot of what I hear is from
other people and this seem to be what a lot of people are talking about.
Debating what is right and what is wrong.
The new Moon chart has Scorpio rising,
with the chart rulers square to each other, Mars in Aries in the
4th and Pluto in Sagittarius in the 2nd. The Sun and Moon are conjunct
in Taurus in the 7th squared by the Saturn/Neptune opposition. Saturn
is in Leo in the 9th and Neptune is in Aquarius in the 3rd .I have
been hearing lots of people say they have been finding themselves
out of their comfort zone and l think of Saturn in Leo and connecting
the word discomfort to this. Maybe because l am a Scorpion l always
think things are intense and once again l feel this chart reflects
a lot of intensity. Scorpio rules other people’s money and Mars and
Pluto through their placement show lots of undercurrents in the home
especially were money is concerned. Mars is strong in its own sign
and can go rushing into to things without thinking of the other.
The Taurean emphasis in the 7th indicates the need to value each
other and Pluto in the 2nd shows the potential for transformation
around the values we place on our own morals. I think Saturn being
in the 9th also reflects this. The Sun and Moon are square Neptune
in the 3rd so communications could be unclear. Mercury and Jupiter
are applying to an opposition. This combination has to be careful
not to blow things out of proportion. Both these planets are also in
their own signs giving them a lot of strength. There is also an unexpected
element to this chart - Uranus is sitting on the IC again showing
lots of disruptions in the home. There feels like there is a lot of
unsurity in the air. The big question for me is the environment who
is telling the truth and who stands to benefit by the statements that
are being made. Surely if we take care of the earth then the earth
will take care of us. Remember patience is a virtue.
I leave you with a quote. “Through important relationships we find
out about qualities in ourselves that are unconscious” The 7th house
Principles of Astrology by Charles and Suzi Harvey.
Blessing of the new Moon to you all. Remember to be gentle with
yourselves and others.
