Moon at 17˚ 30 ' Libra
Hello to all you fellow Moon watchers. Well, lots has
happened since l last wrote a Moon report. Sadly, one of my closest
friends passed away in August so l dedicate this Moon report to the
memory of Suze Da Blooze. On the last full Moon, l felt the calling
to go to Suzy’s grave and there l watched the most amazing Moon rise
and realized l could still experience special things with Suze on a
different level. I give thanks to Great Spirit for this realisation.
For the people of England, 2007 has been a very difficult
year, what with all the flooding, crops failing due to the land being
water logged, Northern Rock having to be bailed out by the Bank of
England, the threat of rising interest rates and ever increasing fuel
prices. All creating lots of discomfort.
One of the places l find comfort is with nature and every
day l feel very blessed. The beautiful colours of autumn are fantastic.
The reds, yellows and oranges are such a treat for the eyes to behold.
To catch a falling leaf is very lucky indeed. Remember if this happens
to you make a wish.
Astrologically, we are living in a very challenging time.
I feel l am always saying this and since the late 80’s and early 90’s
there has been a lot of heavenly activity. We are now the other side
of the Saturn/Neptune opposition and it feels like things have really
changed.
Saturn moved into Virgo on the 2nd of September and is
there for two and half years. Will we see lots more issues around the
health of the nation? Venus makes its 3rd and final conjunction with
Saturn on the 14th of October and Mercury goes retrograde on the 12th
of October.
The new Moon chart has Libra rising with the Sun and
Moon conjunct in the 1st, semi square Venus/Saturn in the11th, sextile
Jupiter in the 3rd and quincunx Uranus in the 6th. Venus is the chart
ruler and figures very strongly in this chart along side Mercury. Venus
is in Mercury’s sign and Mercury is in Venus’s house. Libra likes to
keep everything nice and often sits on the fence, finding it hard to
make decisions. Libra enjoys doing things with others and is very creative.
I often feel like they are the interior designers of the zodiac. They
have an amazing way with colours and have a very tactile side to them.
Libra is the natural ruler of the 7th and says a lot of how we relate
on a one to one level with other people.
So, in this chart we have Libra and Aries the opposite
way round and Mars the ruler of Aries is very prominently placed on
the Midheaven in Cancer. Mars likes to go for what it wants and do
its own thing. When it’s in Cancer it is asked to take others into
account and especially the family. Mars in the 10th is involved in
a grand water trine with Mercury in the 2nd and the North Node in the
5th. There is a lot of energy in this chart about enjoying one self
although there is a sense of being restricted by money and a fear of
not having enough. There could be some issue that comes up around commerce
that affects the status of the family. Maybe we will become aware of
how angry people are feeling. Mercury in the 2nd in Scorpio asks us
to connect with our own self worth, although Scorpio is also to do
with other people’s money and values and can be very secretive.
I leave you with a quote from the Prophet:
People of Orphalese, beauty is life when life unveils her holy face.
But you are life and you are the veil. Beauty is eternity gazing
at itself in a mirror. But you are the eternity and you are the mirror.
Kahlil Gibran.
Blessing of the new Moon to you all, Linda Day
PS I forgot to mention that
the postal strike will be on going due to the Mercury retrograde
- on a lighter note it goes direct on the 1st of November so maybe
we will see a change by then.
PPS I’d like to ask everyone
to think about the monks and nuns in Burma and their plight.
