Full Moon
22nd January 13.36 PM GMT
Sun at 1˚ 54 ' Aquarius
Moon at 1˚ 54 ' Leo
Here in the UK so much rain has fallen on our land, covering
the fields with lots of water and despite the fact that the earth is
getting saturated, nature carries on growing and supporting us. The
days are getting longer and once again the ground is being carpeted
with the white gown of snowdrops. Golden catkins hang from the hazel
and the birds are becoming more active. How blessed are we, to live
on such an amazing planet.
The night skies have been a delight to observe, with
Mars, the red planet, being there for all to see and in the morning
Venus is still adorning the heavens just before dawn.
The full Moon chart.
This is the time of the Suns passage through the sign of Aquarius with
the full Moon falling in the opposite sign of Leo. Aquarius is very
humanistic encouraging everyone to become the true individual they
are, although they can have high ideals of how everyone should be.
Leo, on the other hand, is very proud and easily hurt if not acknowledged
and appreciated. The position of the Sun and the aspects from Uranus
to the Sun and Moon shows there is a very unpredictable aspect to
this chart.
Mercury is very strong in this chart
as it is the chart ruler and is also elevated at the top of the chart.
We are being asked to be aware of how we appreciate our friends and
how we communicate this to each other. Conversation could be
vague; creating frustration. Words can have so many different meanings
which can lead to misunderstanding. The Mars Pluto opposition asks
us to remember patience is a virtue and everything comes to those
that wait. Maybe all has not been revealed yet and it’s easy to jump
to conclusions.
The use of energy is in the news in many different forms.
Our philosophical values are being changed through personal experience
and many of us are having to look at how we assert ourselves, being
challenged to redirect our energy. The rising cost of fuel, electric
and gas are an increasing concern, reflecting issues around the use
of transport and the means to travel. How mad is it, that it’s still
cheaper to fly than catch a train.
Pluto leaves Sagittarius.
Pluto enters Capricorn on the 26th January, visiting this sign for
a short while. The mutable sign’s of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and
Pisces will all breath a sigh of relief. Since 1995, they have been
going through lots of transformation especially in the areas of religion
and communication. We will not see the full affect of this until
Pluto has gone retrograde back into Sagitarius in mid June
and then finally leaves the mutable sign’s and again enters Capricorn
in November.
Saturn in Virgo.
Saturn will only fix what’s worth fixing and Virgo exemplifies the
efficiency of the earth.
Saturn is retrograde in Virgo reflecting the condition
of the nation and our eating habits, highlighting the state of the
food industry, a theme that will be with us for a while. Virgo likes
to be self-sufficient and asks how sustainable it is to be able to
buy two chickens for a fiver. Cheap food has its hidden costs. For
some people, this is all they can afford and it’s difficult to buy
good food when there’s not much money. Saturn rules fear and Virgo
rules nutrition, so there could be a dread of not having enough. Jupiter
trine Saturn can imply that there is a lot of discontentment. However
on the whole, people have an amazing amount of patience, giving us
the capacity to set some realistic goals.
I leave you with a quote:
“If there’s no earth wellbeing there can be no human
wellbeing“
