Sunday 25th June
Castlerigg
Laid in bed and had a slow start. The weather
was moody again but not as much rain as yesterday. Instead
we had a cold wind.

We spent the afternoon at the stone circle. We were lucky
to have no rain so were able to stay with the stones for hours.

Lots of people visited, it being a Sunday. People of all ages,
from all walks of life spending time together in this high
energy circle. It is uplifting and energetic. The beauty is
so vast, it sends you into a feeling of awe.
We are going to come back tomorrow morning to
say goodbye before continuing our travels up North.
Now we are preparing for the next leg of our journey up to
Oban for the ferry to visit Mull, Iona and Fingal’s
cave. We’ve got a long day tomorrow as we are also stopping
at Long Meg and her daughters. We’ve never visited her
before so we are looking forward to meeting them.
