Our visit to Blackmore

Our 2025 diary is on the press!
A few weeks ago, we went to see the print team in action and it was impressive to say the least 🙂

Here’s some photos of our visit.

Blackmore have produced all our products in the UK since 2010 and have been hugely supportive in Astrocal’s growth.

When we first moved to Dorset, Astrocal was just beginning to grow and we were looking for a new printer. We felt very strongly that it was important to keep our printing local so we approached Blackmore who were based three miles up the road in Shaftesbury. Since then, we’ve grown from strength to strength and haven’t looked back. As well as providing an excellent job, Blackmore have very impressive, award winning, green credentials which match our ethos. They’ve sent nothing to landfill since 2012, they recycle 100% of their waste and they’re totally committed to achieving net-zero this decade.

We’ve always had an environmental awareness both personally and professionally and do everything we can to avoid waste and prevent pollution. For us, it’s always a careful balance between under printing so there’s no waste, but also trying to avoid customers being disappointed if we don’t print enough!

Throughout our relationship with Blackmore, the whole team have been extremely professional, reliable and supportive. It really is a pleasure to work with them.
