We haven’t had any internet or phone signal for a few days so have been unable to upload our blog. I’m in the car park of our next place on Skye connecting with very low 4g – just like 19 years ago! Another cycle it seems! This post was written on Thursday morning:
WOW, Callanish is so breath taking. We’ve just spent two nights with the stones and have been touched to the core. The stones welcomed us, actually pulling us into their circle. We’ve experienced such a strong pull and deep connection to be back at Callanish ever since we visited 19 years ago.
Our journey up here has been so difficult but we’ve made it and feel so blessed to have spent time with Callanish once again. Each stone is magnificent – the shape, the texture, the layers of crystal, the energy they hold. Each have their own character and seen from different angles, show a different form. Put all the stones together and they’re absolutely stunning. Tall pillars of wisdom. WOW!
Being with the stones brought quiet reflection, memories of people and events. So much has happened in the last 19 years. Such a long cycle.
Just like our last visit, the energy at the stones has been so gentle and the people we’ve met so open and generous of soul. We resonated with new friends immediately. Deep conversation, heart connection. Very special. At some points, there was gentle music and beautiful singing, sensitive and soothing.
Each night, the Moon was behind cloud and did not reveal herself. However, she was very much there with us and we honoured her presence with song and prayer. We gently sang “Under the Full Moon Light” with our friends as a closure before departing home. Each night, we left Callanish feeling energised and blessed. A feeling of connection and completion.
Throughout this journey, we’ve swung from fear and crises to peace and connection. The extreme swing of the Major Lunar Standstill has been experienced in full. The pull to reach Callanish was stronger than the series of difficulties that confronted us. We’ve had to abandon our van, live out of a tiny hire car and deal with a lot of stress. We’re both quite exhausted!
After such a difficult journey, we’re going to really enjoy being home, safe and comfortable. The desire for adventure fulfilled. The climax has been reached. The drive to be at Callanish with the stones complete. Our work is done. We can now surrender and let the current take us home.
This is the beginning of another 18.6 year lunar cycle.
Thank you Moon for your wisdom.
Gentle connections.
Thank you Callanish.
Tomorrow we pick up our van – which will hopefully get us home. Send us luck as we begin our journey back 🙂 We may do one more blog along the way if we get the time.
